Money is Often Made by Doing Nothing

I realised the other day that I have to allow my creations to come to fruition when they are ready; not when I expect them to.

Over the last two years I have made investments based on the idea that, over time, a Fiat money system will devalue its currency. This type of investment requires some patience, something I am not endowed strongly with.

Recent events in Europe and the United States combined with the general perceived uncertainty that China's growth will slow, Libyan uprisings, discontent with austerity in the UK, Greece and other countries, currency-wars and all manner of financial drama have contributed to my investments not doing what they're supposed to do. Ha!

My awareness is that while the fundamentals of my investments are sound, many billions of people are contributing to create the extraordinary drama of what we currently have as money right now. It will pass as they turn theri attention to other things.

Jim Sinclair, of Mineset, said something along the lines of, the greatest money is often made by doing nothing, being patient and waiting.
