Demanding Money with Change

Just over 14-months later, after making a powerful demand of myself, I had more money that I’ve had at any other point in my life. That’s a lot of change and change can happen fast, when we are truly willing to create something different.

After working for over 30 years and getting down to my last $1000, I looked at my life and realised that I knew little to nothing about money.

It seems entirely absurd that the following, aparently desirable, qualities do not automatically include a capacity to make money, which surely is something useful when creating a life:

• highly educated
• intelligent
• articulate
• healthy
• 30-years of work experience
• 50+ years of life experience

And when I say, “make money,” I mean large amounts of money, lots of money, hideous and obscene amounts of money; and money to the point where money is no longer a prime factor in the computation of choice.

The above list goes some way to describe the ‘me’ I had been creating and in 2009, when I discovered I was down to my last $1000 with no idea how I arrived there, it was time to take a good look at everything I had decided money was, change it and have something completely different. In fact, that was largely the demand I made of me, “Change and have something completely different!”

... and money to the point where money is no longer a prime factor in the computation of choice.

Demand

A demand is a powerful thing. It requires that you be willing to be, do, have, create or generate whatever it takes to have what you desire show up. You have to be willing to have everything and to lose everything; it may require your life to look completely different, that people leave you, that everything you decided was you and your life change dynamically; and you can have no idea what that will look like.

The demand you make, of you, is really quite simple; you are saying,

This [...] no longer works for me and nothing is more valuable to me than changing it.

If your life does not change, then you have not truly made a demand; you have created a lie that may lock you up forever. Be clear on what has to change and be willing to not-control the future.

The 4-Keys to Demanding Change with Money

1. Be Clear

Being clear requires that you stop being unconscious and become aware of what’s not working for you. Look at the results you are getting in your life and begin to see what really is, rather than what you have decided.

• Does, not-having an abundance of money really work for you?
• Does, making choices based on a lack-of-money give you freedom to choose the life you would really like to have?

What you have now, as money, is the result of the choices you have been making. What new or different choices can you make to begin having all the money you desire?

2. Demand

Demand change and be willing to do whatever it takes for that to show up. Remember ... whatever it takes! Demand is a powerful tool that will assist you to take action. It not only engages you dynamically, it invites the universe to assist in ways you cannot imagine.

3. Institute

You have to do something to have money and you will have to be, do, have, create or generate something different. Continuing to do the same things you have been doing will not allow a change. You must become aware of new possibilities, energies or information and choose those that will take you towards where you would like to go.

4. Acknowledge

Acknowledge you. Be willing to see where you have created changes or chosen differently, that allows what does work for you to show up. Ask for more of that; more of what works for you in your life and always ask for more of you. You, being more of you, is what really makes the difference.

What will it take for more of [...] to show up?

Demand is a simple yet dynamic tool that can get you into question, curiosity, inquiry and request. That’s what demand really means: question and request. Does that seem more like you, inquisitive, playful, questioning and choosing? What if, you being more of you will open the doors to hideous and obscene amounts of money showing up in your life? Would you like some of that?

I had more money that I’ve had at any other point in my life.

14-months after I made my demand of me, I had more money that I’ve had at any other point in my life. That’s a lot of change. I continue to demand more, more of me, more of life and more money. Money is not the prime factor in my choices anymore and the changes I have received go far beyond anything I could have imagined.

I realised that we have capacities with money way beyond what our education, bringing-up and life-experience has entrained us in. I had mistakenly created my financial empire exactly small enough to fit inside my head where I had total control of it. Once I let go of that control, I became aware I could function on global scale and generate money from a much-more generous, abundant and fun space. What capacities with money are you refusing or denying, based on your mind?

Now, in my curiosity and questioning I often ask, “What else is possible beyond anything I can imagine or think?”
